This Standard sets forth minimum requirements for hose swivel connectors intended to be used for the service of flammable and combustible liquids. A hose swivel connector is intended for use with dispensing devices to facilitate handling of the hose nozzle valve and/or hose without subjecting the hose to twisting or torsional stress. Requirements for the installation and use of equipment handling flammable and combustible liquids may be included in the National Fire Code of Canada and the regulations of the authority having jurisdiction.
