This standard specifies the data format for the System Item of the MXF Generic Container (GC) that is calledSystem Scheme 1. This data format is a superset of the System Item defined in SMPTE 385M (MappingSDTI-CP Essence and Metadata into the MXF Generic Container) and provides a more generic and flexibledata structure that can provide system elements for flexible GC wrappings including clip-based wrapping. Thisdocument defines the rules that System Elements in the System Item shall follow in order to be classified as aSystem Scheme 1 System Element.
