The purpose of this document is to specify recommended mechanical and electricalstandards for broadband radio frequency (RF) devices whose primary purpose is to allowsignals presented to an input port to be routed selectively to one of two or more outputports. Alternately, such devices can be used to select which one of the multiple inputsources is routed to the common output port. Its scope is limited to 75 ohm devices whoseports are provided with F connectors. The most common use for such devices is onpremisesRF signal distribution.
