This specification covers an alkaline aqueous cleaner compound in the form of a liquid concentrate or a water-soluble powder for dilution with water.This product has been used typically for removing oils, greases, or other soils from aircraft turbine engine parts by immersion in a solution of the compound at elevated temperature or spray cleaned in a parts washer, but usage is not limited to such applications. Restrictions for cleaning titanium parts may be imposed by the engine manufacturer.
