This standard specifies a laboratory test method to evaluate the performance of liquid-applied maintenance coating systems for the atmospheric zone and splash zone of offshore platforms. The types of tests specified are: rust creepage resistance, edge-retention, thermal-cycling resistance, seawater immersion resistance, cathodic disbondment, flexibility, and impact resistance.
