It is intended for use bycorrosion control personnel concerned with the corrosion of buried or submerged piping systems, including oil, gas, water, and similar structures. This standard describes the use of electricallyinsulating coatings, electrical isolation, and cathodic protection (CP) as external corrosion controlmethods.
