Provides requirements for the design, construction and operation of installations for the storage and handling of liquefied natural gas (LNG). It addresses major installations of atmospheric-type tanks for supplying marine tanker terminals and pipeline peak saving. It also covers pressure tanks, usually part of a land transport distribution system. The Standard does not cover transport or pipelines outside the storage installation.
