Sets out visual grading rules, dimensional tolerances and acceptable species for timber crossarms intended for use as support for overhead utility service cables. Two grades of crossarms are described and an optional top surface grade is also given. F-grades are given for use in the structural design of crossarms. This Standard is to be used in conjunction with AS 3818.1.
