Sets out general requirements and schedules for the regular inspection, pressure testing, recharging, and general servicing of portable fire extinguishers. Levels of maintenance are on a time-lapse basis and range, depending on extinguisher type, from 6-monthly inspections to 6-yearly inspections. In addition, a special table for inspection and servicing is included for extinguishers located in aggressive environments.
