Relates to the preparation and distribution of operating manuals for use, maintenance, and inspection of packaging for shipping radioactive materials. The standard prescribes the contents and their arrangement and contains a model manual that can be used as a pattern. It is generally applicable to packages for greater than A1/A2 quantity and highway route-controlled materials, but it should also be used to be the extent applicable for other packaging.
